Down-regulation of EGFR by EGFR siRNA in STS26T MPNST cells significantly decreased tumor cell proliferation, invasion, and migration by blocking the PI3K/AKT and MAPK pathways. (A) EGFR siRNA decreased EGFR expression and activation. Activated forms of PI3K/AKT and MAPK pathway factors decreased with EGFR inhibition.
