  1. The capabilities of tumor cell lines to acquire membranes and membrane-associated HLA-G were investigated using PKH67-labeled allogeneic (LCL-HLA-G1) and PKH67-labeled autologous cells. For each experiment type, acceptor cells, donor cells, and the mean percentage of acceptor cells that acquired membranes (PKH67) and/or HLA-G1 from donor cells is shown. The number of independent experiments performed for each line is shown. n/a not applicable for lack of HLA-G-positive autologous lines.
