Similar expression of inhibitory molecules on peripheral blood T cells of AML patients at diagnosis compared to healthy controls. Expression of CD244 (a, e), PD-1 (b, f), CD160 (c, g), and TIM-3 (d, h) was measured on peripheral blood CD8+ (ad) and CD4+ (eh) T cells of 23 AML patients at diagnosis (AML_diag) in comparison to 30 healthy controls (HC) and 10 HIV patients (HIV), and percentages of positive cells were depicted. Samples were categorized according to age (≤40 vs. >40 years) within each group. Statistical differences were calculated to HC of the respective age cohort. *p ≤ 0.05; **p ≤ 0.01; ***p ≤ 0.001
