NT1014 induced cellular stress in ovarian cancer cells. The IGROV-1 and SKOV3 cells were treated with NT1014 and metformin at the indicated doses for 4 h, and the ROS production was determined using the DCFH-DA assay. NT1014 increased the ROS level in a dose-dependent manner (a, b). The expression of cellular stress proteins (PERK, Bip, and calnexin) was detected by Western blotting after treatment of NT1014 for 24 h (c). *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01
