The effect of NT1014 on glycolytic metabolism in ovarian cancer cells. The IGROV-1 and SKOV3 cells were incubated with NT1014 in concentrations of up to 1000 μM for 24 h. The glucose uptake (a), lactate level (b), and cellular ATP level (c) were assayed. NT1014 increased glucose uptake and lactate production. NT1014 treatment resulted in a decrease in ATP production in the SKOV3 cells and an increase in ATP in the IGROV-1 cells (c). The expression of Glut1, LDHA, and PDH was measured by Western blotting after treatment with NT1014 for 24 h (d, e). *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01
