Liquid biopsy application among MCL patients. A timeline of an MCL patient is shown. Upon diagnosis, baseline samples are collected, followed by the initial treatment. A blood sample from the patient is drawn, which includes MRD detectable units: ctDNA, CTCs, and exosomes. The units go through gene sequencing and analysis, where gene fusions, copy number alterations, point mutations, and gene rearrangements can be detected. Once MRD has been detected via liquid biopsy, further treatment options are considered. An additional series of samples are collected during this second treatment to monitor changes in the patient
