TAT-SALL4B enhances the long-term engraftment of human cord blood CD34+ cells in NOD/SCID mice. (a): 20,000 human cord blood CD34+ cells were transplanted into NOD/SCID mice 24 hours after sublethal irradiation (2.5 Gy). Mice were treated with 2 μg TAT-SALL4B protein or PBS for 2 weeks (daily for the first week and once every other day for the second week). (b): Percentages of human CD45+ cells in mouse bone marrow at sixteen weeks after transplantation in PBS and SALL4B treated group (n = 3).
