Sections were stained with Haematoxylin–Eosin and showed extramedullary hematopoiesis with all 3 hematopoietic elements, increased megakaryocytes with hyperchromatic nuclei (black arrows), increased hemosiderin deposits (blue arrows) and evidence of fibrosis.Back to article page
